Songs for Europe was commissioned by Culture Liverpool as part of the host city’s EuroStreet programme for Eurovision 2023. This new theatre piece has been created by and for care home residents, particularly those living with Dementia, Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s Diseases, and their loved ones. The project involved the voices of residents, creating a joyful, nostalgic and entertaining piece which toured 20 care homes across Liverpool.
